Can you be pregnant and still have your period?

The anniversary period

This is a period that occurs when your period would have started if you hadn’t been pregnant. It may be either very mild or very abundant, and often it’s quite different from your usual period.

This condition is very rare, and the causes of this phenomenon are unknown.

It may keep a woman from realizing that she is pregnant, and it can be cause for concern to those who have had a positive pregnancy test and are afraid of a miscarriage.

However, you should know that the anniversary period is harmless and will most often occur in the first month of pregnancy, although it may continue for a few more months.
